The Broker — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It means the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. But better than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should make the platform set once it is live.
What You Pay
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
The execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.
