Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade - What It Is

TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an well-known broker.

His background is relevant. It suggests the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better DOM. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That would round things out when it arrives.

What You Pay

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not something most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Now, the part that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You put money in, the broker add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before funding.
